Privacy Policy

Hippool is a brand of BME Consulting, a French company. There is no United States establishment: your contract is with a French company.
In plain terms
- We collect what we need to sell you a pool and deliver it.
- We do not sell or share your personal information.
- You can ask what we hold, get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted.
1. Who is responsible for your data
BME Consulting, 113 rue Marietton, 69009 Lyon, France — Lyon Trade and Companies Register 754 058 410.
Because we are established in the European Union, we handle all personal information — including yours — under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, in addition to the rights your state gives you. In practice that means you have more rights with us than most US privacy laws require.
Data protection contact: Steven Robert — contact@hippool.com.
2. What we collect, and why
- Order and delivery data — name, address, e-mail, order contents. To perform the contract.
- Payment data — handled by our payment providers. We never see your full card number.
- Site usage data — to understand which pages are useful.
3. We do not sell or share your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
4. Your rights
Whatever your state, you may ask us to tell you what we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a given purpose. Write to contact@hippool.com; we answer within 48 hours.
If you live in California, you also have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act — to know, to delete, to correct, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You have the right not to be treated differently for exercising them.
If your state has its own privacy law, we apply it as well. Ask us and we will tell you exactly what applies to you.
5. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
6. Where your data goes
Our systems are operated from the European Union and by the providers we use to run the shop, take payment and deliver your order. We do not transfer your data to anyone who is not needed to complete your order.
7. How long we keep it
Order records for as long as the law requires us to keep accounts. Everything else only for as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected for.
8. If you need us
contact@hippool.com — we reply within 48 hours.
